The first half of the Atlanta-filmed “Hunger Games” series finale “Mockingjay” trailer, featuring the series star Jennifer Lawrence with Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman, premiered Sunday night. The film centers on the first half of Suzanne Collin’s final novel of the “Hunger Games” series in which Katniss Everdeen has been recruited by the rebellion District to inspire the nation to rise against the corrupt government, The Capital. The trailer also features some local filming sites such as the Atlanta History Center’s Swan House.

“Mockingjay” filmed in Atlanta for months at a variety of locations including: the 200 Peachtree facility downtown, the Sweetwater Creek State Park, a cornfield in Rockmart, a rural area in Dawsonville, and a sound stage in Norcross.

If you’re interested in checking out the Atlanta History Center’s Swan House allows visitors to get a close look at the rooms where filming for “Mockingjay” and the series sequel “Catching Fire” filmed.

The film is set to hit theaters November 21, 2014.
