LATIN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL: VIEJOS AMIGOS

The fifth annual Latin American Film Festival is co-sponsored by the Consul Generals of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru.

There will be a Q&A session after each film screening. Every film has English subtitles and will be introduced by a representative from the consulate.

Film for November 5: Viejos Amigos (2014, Fernando Villaran Lujan)

Film summary: Three old friends reunite at their best friend Kike’s funeral and remember that he wanted his ashes to be spread in the sea near their town Callao. One of them, Balito, steals the ash tray And they begin a funny journey plenty of anecdotes most of them related to their passion for soccer And their local team “Sport boys”.
