A movie based on the novel White Girl Problems is set to film in Atlanta.
The production team has plans to start shooting the adaptation of White Girl Problems October 16. The original novel follows a young spoiled girl who’s shopping addiction has her spending wild amounts of money. The novel was written by Babe Walker and is based on a popular twitter account, told as a faux memoir. The novel has two follow-up installments coming in the years after its release, which could indicate more film material if the movie does well.
The director of the film is Nahnatchka Khan. Babe Walker and David Oliver Cohen are set to produce the project. Stars of the movie include Danielle MacDonald and Ben Jacob.
