Tomorrow Pictures, in partnership with critically acclaimed producer and consultant Peter Hamilton, invites film and television producers to participate in an intensive workshop on Saturday, May 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hosted at Monday Night Brewing, the “Atlanta Master Class” will feature Hamilton’s “Built for Success: Developing and Producing Non-Fiction Programming” workshop, providing key insights into the rapidly changing non-fiction video marketplace and helping those in the industry garner insights into U.S. networks.

The five–hour workshop will aid producers in developing effective strategies to apply when working to get movie and television projects greenlit. The day will be divided into two sessions, followed by an afternoon networking session from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The first session will focus on specific industry networks, highlighting the US landscape, negotiation deals and digital opportunities. Session two will explore the art of the pitch, providing key tactics on how to master the perfect pitch. During this time participants will have the opportunity to workshop two sizzle reels and enjoy a presentation and whitepaper led by Tomorrow Pictures executive producer, Ellen Barnard detailing how to budget, plan and produce a dynamic sizzle for $10,000 or less.

“With the film and television industry booming in Atlanta, and with the recent move to the number two largest market in the country, it’s time to bring more Atlanta producers and homegrown talent into the mix. I am working with Tomorrow Pictures to provide the high-level of conferences and workshops that every other major unscripted television market has,” says Peter Hamilton, director of Peter Hamilton Consultants, Inc. “Having recently returned from MIPTV in Cannes, I’m excited to share the latest takeaways and insights on what is driving unscripted buyers worldwide with our Atlanta workshop attendees.”

Hamilton will also share extensive case studies, discuss working with various producers and agents and provide his analysis on today’s trends in the film industry. Participants are encouraged to attend post-workshop networking and a craft beer tasting and brewery tour at Monday Night Brewing, followed by a producer’s meet-up at the upstairs bar and patio at nearby JCT. Kitchen and Bar at Westside Provisions District. Hamilton and Barnard will be available to answer questions and offer attendees guidance on their current and future projects during this time.
