Stranger Things is an upcoming Netflix series filming in Atlanta and starring Winona Ryder.

According to Variety the eight episode series will follow the story of a search for a missing boy in Indiana. Ryder stars as the missing boys mother while her co-star, David Harbour, will play the town’s Chief of Police.

Seven young actors have also been recently cast, lead by Finn Wolfhard (The 100) who will play the missing boy’s best friend. Each episode is set to be an hour long and will premier sometime in 2016.

Project Casting reported yesterday that casting has begun in Atlanta for a number of roles and the series is set to shoot from October 2015, through April 2016.
