Sneak Peek at Georgia Filmed “The Last of Robin Hood”
By Oz Online | Published on June 30, 2014

The Georgia-filmed feature is an American independent biographical drama film about the last days of actor Errol Flynn. Filming began at the end of January of 2013 with Richard Glatzer and Wash West as writers and directors of the coming-of-age film.

Kevin Kline stars as the screen legend Errol Flynn who seduces and has a relationship with a much-younger woman, Beverly Aadland, played by Dakota Fanning. The film is based on the true story of Beverly, who was working at Warner Brothers studios with a fake birth certificate saying she was 18 years old—she was only 15—when she meets Errol Flynn. Her mother Florence, Susan Sarandon, embraces the relationship and becomes a third-wheel party to the affair herself. Florence achieves all the popularity that she pushed her daughter so hard for when Flynn dies in Beverly’s arms. The notoriety is everything she ever wanted, but the publicity drives Beverly to the brink of insanity.

The film is set to premiere August 29, 2014.
