The GGDA and Momocon are bringing a gaming championship and career fair to Atlanta

The Georgia Game Developers Association (GGDA) has partnered with Momocon to bring the Georgia E-Sports League Spring Championship and a career fair to Atlanta. The championship event takes place tomorrow, May 24, from 2-8 p.m. at Momocon. Teams from Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, SCAD Atlanta, and the University of Georgia will compete on the Momocon Main Stage for a chance to earn scholarships and bragging rights for being the best college team in the state in Brawlhalla, Paladins and SMITE.” All attendees of Momocon can view the championship free of additional charge.

The Career Fair will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is free and open to all. It will feature many companies relevant to the gaming industry. The event will also host demos and information sessions throughout the upcoming weekend at Momocon. Momocon runs May 24-27, and will offer a gathering and convention for anime, gaming and the like.
