The sequel to 2012 Magic Mike will be filming here in Savannah, GA. It is rumored that the movie is going to be about male exoctic dancers road -tripping to a stipper convention. Recently, in an MTV interview, Channing Tatum stated that the plan is to have the entire cast reprise their roles from the previous movie. The first movie starred Channing Tatum, Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey, and co – starred Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez, Kevin Nash, and Cody Horn.

The film is due to release in the U.S. on July 3, 2015 and will be in the company of a few other comedy sequels set to release this summer, Pitch Perfect 2 and Ted 2.
