Join Out on Film for the premiere of Head to Head, as part of the festival’s southern shorts block, at 5:30 pm on October 3rd in the Midtown Art Cinema.

Head to Head is an absurd game show that pits people from opposing sides of history against each other in a verbal sparring match.

This “episode” has Anita Bryant, top 40 pop artist and renowned bigot, battling it out with Maria Helena Dolan, local activist and long-time member of Atlanta’s queer community.

Head to Head stars Sofia Palmero as fiery Maria, Rachel Tess Eddy as ignorant Anita, and Gregory Piccirilli as the mischievous host. The short was directed by Ryan Lambert, and produced by Lambert and Shane Dedman.
