Georgia Film Impact’s Spring 2020 Grant is a no strings-attached grant to support Georgia based filmmakers in producing short film content to practice their craft and further their skills as filmmakers.

To qualify, you must be a Georgia based filmmaker and have plans to shoot the film in the next year in Georgia.

If selected, Filmmakers will receive $5,000 and a mentor throughout the process completing the film. We also ask that you put the Film Impact Georgia logo in the credits for the film once it is completed.

Spring 2020 Grant Timeline:

Applications open: October 1st, 2019

Deadline for applications: November 15th, 2019

Finalists announced: December 1st, 2019

Winner announced: January 15th, 2020

Grant Finalization Process:

The application will open on October 1st, and then close on November 15th. We will narrow down the applicants to ten finalists that will be announced on December 1st. The finalists will be interviewed, and then guest mentors will review the ten projects and the final grant recipient will be announced on January 15th, 2020.
