The 10th annual BigPictureCon will be held at Clayton State University Oct 18-19, 2015.
The Georgia BigPictureCon (GABPC) is an film and technology conference targeting student and emerging filmmakers and digital media professionals – such as technology instructors, editors, audio techs, game developers, screenwriters, and those interested in visual effects. This year attendees will enjoy two days of educational sessions including workshops, panel discussions, screenings, and seminars focusing on cutting edge aspects of film & video production and digital entertainment technology. The conference sessions encourage the power and use of storytelling through film and screen-based media as a vehicle for personal expression, problem-solving and cultural understanding.
The speaker list has typically been one of the most impressive aspects of their conference. Access to these generous industry professionals has been a highlight that most attendees find of great value. Featured this year is Don Levy, former SONY Entertainment VP, as their opening keynote speaker.
As well as speakers, the two day event will feature ‘Big Picture Sessions.’ Topics range from directing, screen writing, graphics, visual media, production assistant training, and editing to networking, film financing, marketing and distribution and more. From seasoned pros to beginners these workshops provide information for all.
