Survivor’s Remorse aired its final episode on October 15th after a four season run.

The Starz show filmed in Atlanta for its run, starring Jessie T. Usher, RonReaco Lee, Erica Ash, Teyonah Parris, Tichina Arnold, Robert Wu and Meagan Tandy; LeBron James was an executive producer with his company SpringHill Entertainment. The show was created by Mike O’Malley, well known for the show Shameless.

The ending of the show was not conceived as a finale, as the cancellation was abrupt. The actors were contracted for a fifth season, with no renegotiation scheduled.”The sad thing about this thing is that it feels like a death,” O’Malley told The Hollywood Reporter, “but it doesn’t feel like a slow death where everyone’s around you in hospice, watching and telling you how great you are, and your family’s there and ‘You had a wonderful life.’ This just feels like you’re walking down the street, you’re clutching your heart, you say, ‘Uh-oh, this is how it’s gonna end?’ And it ends.”
