The AJFF Selects are monthly screenings feature foreign and independent films, along with speakers and guest filmmakers. Says AJFF Executive Director Kenny Blank, “After the sold-out success of The Wedding Plan, our debut AJFF Selects screening, we’re privileged to continue bringing more of the world-class cinema that audiences have come to expect from us.”
The Exception stars Jai Courtney, Christopher Plummer, and Lily James, and is directed by Tony-nominated theater director David Leveaux. The film was adapted from the best-selling novel The Kaiser’s Last Kiss, written by Alan Judd, which tells the story of a German soldier making the choice between following his country or his heart during WWII..
Tickets are $13 and are available at ajff.org/exceptiontix.
