The United Talent Agency (UTA) has officially opened the doors to its first Atlanta office. The Beverly Hills-based global talent agency is one of the world’s leading entertainment companies with offices in New York, Chicago, London, and Nashville and an impressive list of clients including Harrison Ford, Dick Wolf, M. Night Shyamalan, and Charlize Theron.
After noticing the continued success of Georgia’s entertainment industry, the agency decided there was too much potential to miss out on and got to work developing what is now a 20,000 square-foot, full-service center of operations in the Peach State’s biggest city.
“Atlanta is a vibrant city for music, sports and arts, and there is a ripe opportunity to create another center of gravity for film and television,” said Jeremy Zimmer, CEO of UTA. “We are excited to bring our full range of services to the community of talented artists, athletes, musicians and creators who call the Southeast their home.”
Furthermore, “Atlanta is an entertainment and cultural hub, and planting our flag here gives us the ability to support clients with investments and opportunities across the city’s growing creative ecosystem,” explained UTA Atlanta executives Steve Cohen and Rob Gibbs.
The new Atlanta office features a fine arts gallery called the UTA Artist Space, which is open to public and private exhibitions sourced from the local art community. The inaugural show for the new gallery featured artist and musician Lonnie Haley who presented his first sculpture in 10 years, “The Eyes Were Always On Us.”
