Chez Studios has an unforgettable two day youth workshop opportunity next month for actors to work with Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley.

Hensley is an Atlanta born actor, singer, and dancer with experience on screen and on Broadway. He even has an award named after him- the Hensley Award that recognizes excellence in high school musical theater. The award is given out each year to help promote the importance of the arts in education.

The workshop centers around what each and every actor needs to stand out above the rest. Hensley starts off simple with how to interpret a script, and then how to work through scenes, monologues or songs.

Then the focus shifts on how to take that basic skill and create a unique style. He encourages students to focus on becoming spontaneous and memorable while continuing to do what is natural for each individual.

Students must come prepared with a scene, monologue, or song of their choice to work through during the entirety of the workshop. From there, Hensley will go step-by-step to help the students fine-tune their skills as actors.

The workshop is for ages 18+ and spaces are limited!
