People TV is holding a free 90 minute workshop on Wednesday April, 29, 2015. This orientation is prerequisite for anyone interested in production and/or using the PTV facilities and equipment.
The workshop will inform attendees about the history of public access, other PTV workshops, certification requirements, membership, and instructions for using People TV equipment. In order to take any other PTV workshops in the future, this orientation must be completed. Additionally, in order to get certified as a producer, this workshop is mandatory. However, there is an option for highly experienced people to take the one-time proficiency exam instead in order to be come certified.
