John Cena and the cast and crew of “Peacemaker” are in Paulding County, Georgia to film season 2. Following a successful first season, the second reprisal of the series is set to unfold in James Gunn’s DC Universe. 

Gunn has kept the new season’s plot under wraps. However, he has indicated that certain aspects of the DC Universe will remain canon, while other bits may be left out.

As production progresses, fans can expect to learn more about how Peacemaker season 2 will fit into the overall DCU. Given that season 2 is set to follow the events of Gunn’s upcoming “Superman” movie, which was also recently filming in Georgia, there may be hints or references to Cena’s show in the 2025 film.
