Ludacris is the star of a new Georgia and New York-lensed Christmas movie now streaming on Disney+. 

Directed by Tim Story, Dashing Through the Snow follows Eddie Garrick, a divorced father and social worker for the Atlanta Police Department, who despises Christmas. When his ex-wife asks him to take care of their daughter on Christmas Eve, the two have a chance meeting with a named Nick dressed in red and hanging upside down in a chimney, leading to a wild adventure that might just be the saving grace for Eddie’s Christmas spirit.  

The movie is set in New York although it was mostly filmed in Atlanta. The production team traversed the Peach State Capital to transform certain areas into a New York replica for filming. Most notably, the crew was sighted decorating the road and shops on 64 Broad Street in downtown Atlanta.

The rest of the cast includes Kevin Connolly, Janora McDuffie, Teyonah Parris, Madison Skye Validum, Lil Red Howery, and Zulay Henao.
