The 2024 ASIFAC Animation Festival and Conference will take place on June 28-29th, 2024 at Kennesaw State University. Held biennially, the premiere animation event is returning with a new program aimed at enhancing community involvement and interaction.

The theme for this year’s festival, which happens to be free of charge to the public, is “Animation Re:Launch,” inspiring the industry to recover and flourish after a tough year.

The program includes roundtable discussions, behind-the-scenes panels, screenings, cutting-edge demos, booths, exhibits, and professional development sessions.

“As a professional animator, I’m excited to get an opportunity to share my experience taking people through the pipeline of creating an animated short from start to finish, and all the coordination that goes on behind the scenes to create a successful short,” says Min Kyung, head animator.

The festival concludes on Sunday with an exclusive awards ceremony and mixer reserved for ASIFA members and special guests.
