James Franco and Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones are starring in a new thriller called ‘The Razor’s Edge’. The film is produced by Corey Large (known for Paradise City, It Follows, and The November Man) and directed by Demian Lichtenstein (3000 Miles to Graceland).
Filming is scheduled to begin in Columbus, Georgia on June 25, 2024.
“We’re always excited to learn when new productions choose Columbus,” explained the CEO of Columbus’s film office, Peter Bowden. “And once the pre-production begins from scouting, permits, location selection, etc., our involvement surges in order to provide a one-stop-shop experience for the producers. And as we learned in the quarterly film meeting, we hope to connect students in the Georgia Film Academy program at Columbus State University with this project for their internship and hands-on experience.”
The story follows a former mob hitman who, after deciding to abandon his violent life, is forced to confront his past when his daughter is kidnapped and his lover is targeted. To save them, he must embark on one last dangerous mission, all while being hunted by an even deadlier killer.
“I’m excited that we have signed the superbly talented actors James, Suki and Tommy Lee to bring ‘The Razor’s Edge’ to the big screen. They are perfectly suited to embody the protagonists in director Demian’s script,” added Large.
