Hawks Return to Peachtree TV
By Oz Online | Published on January 10, 2024

The Atlanta Hawks are making their long-awaited return to Peachtree TV (WPCH) on January 12, 2024, versus the Indiana Pacers. Furthermore, Peachtree TV will broadcast every Friday night Hawks game for the rest of the NBA season, excluding the game in Memphis on March 8. Instead, the station will televise the Sunday, March 10 showdown against the New Orleans Pelicans.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to give Hawks fans a new, free way to watch our games this season,” said Andrew Saltzman, the Hawks’ Chief Revenue Officer. “We are thankful to Peachtree TV and Gray TV for making this a reality and look forward to returning the Hawks to our historic local partner for our Friday games.”

The broadcast agreement covers 10 games and allows Hawks fans across Atlanta to watch their favorite team using Peachtree TV’s free broadcasts. These games will also be available to watch on Gray’s television stations throughout the southeast, including Albany, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, and Savannah in Georgia, and Birmingham, Dothan, Huntsville, and Montgomery in Alabama.

The broadcasts will employ the Bally Sports production crew while Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins, play-by-play commentator Bob Rathbun, and sideline reporter Tabitha Turner will handle the sportscasting duties.

“We are thrilled to bring the Hawks back to broadcast on Peachtree TV this season,” added Peachtree TV’s VP and General Manager, Erik Schrader. “Sports on broadcast television make the games available to everyone. Not only do longtime fans get their favorite team for free, but it’s the best opportunity to grow new fans!”
