Glen Powell has touched down in Atlanta to film a new comedy TV show for Hulu.

The “Twisters” actor is playing Russ Holliday, an older college quarterback looking to get a second shot as a walk-on at a new school.

The idea for the show came from the “Chad Powers” sketch where Hall of Fame quarterback Eli Manning tried to do the same thing on the Penn State football team. 

Filming is currently taking place on the Morehouse College campus as well as the surrounding Metro Atlanta area, and Powell not only stars, but is also a co-producer and co-creator.
