Crafty Apes and Moonshine have created a post-production alliance

Recent feedback on Atlanta’s booming industry illuminated a need for post-production services here in Georgia to keep projects local from start to finish. Crafty Apes, a visual effects company, has joined forces with Moonshine Post Production to create an option for projects to take advantage of Georgia tax incentives on post production. This also has influenced big industry players to come to Georgia themselves and be a part of the process. The addition of this post-production opportunity for creators helps seal the gap between what is offered in Los Angeles and Atlanta. The idea of a one-stop shop, with our enticing tax incentives, is another great motivator for content creators to choose Georgia for the full project.

Crafty Apes handles visual effects and Moonshine works on the color correction and sound mastering to provide a full post-production service. As their website explains, “Moonshine Post, Commander, and Crafty Apes have formed a strategic partnership, establishing complete pixel pipeline from acquisition to delivery for Atlanta-based productions. Together they offer bundled packages from cameras to dailies and ADR to editorial and VFX across feature, television and commercial productions, studio or independent, affordably and GA Tax Incentivized.” Their goal is to form the infrastructure that allows Georgia to stand on its own, keeping content local.

The partnership already has work that is being screened during the current Atlanta Film Festival.
