A number of Georgians got the chance to meet Bruce Willis as the actor’s in the Peach State filming a new movie. As an extra treat for Georgians…Willis was spotted sporting a Georgia Bulldogs sweatshirt as he was out an about.

Actor and producer Alexander Kane tells FOX 31 that Willis is in Fitzgerald for movie being filmed right now.

Fitzgerald Mayor Jim Puckett says that the sci-fi thriller movie is called ‘Anti-Life’ and will keep Willis in town for a few days.

Bruce even went to Tifton for dinner at Fresco Italian.

This is the second movie being filmed in Fitzgerald. Last week a local radio station posted that actors were needed for this film.

In 2014, Sidney Bryant filmed a movie ‘Surrender’ in Fitzgerald. It’s about a Fitzgerald Police Department detective, Tracy McBride, who loses his partner and through other tribulations loses his faith in Christ.

Earlier this year, the TV series, The Encounter, also filmed in Fitzgerald for three months and can be seen on Pure Flix.

Puckett adds that the city is doing all they can to help create a sustainable industry. The production company Fitzgerald Films is working with the high school to add film and television to the curriculum so that students can get training and hands-on experience in this industry.
