BronzeLens Film Festival is Around the Corner

The BronzeLens Film Festival returns to Atlanta this month

The BronzeLens Film Festival of Atlanta is known for putting a spotlight on people of color within the film industry, Since 2009, the event has aimed at bringing worldwide attention to people of color within the industry, and to promote the sharing of ideas and culture. Their goals are “to promote Atlanta as the new film mecca for people of color; and to showcase films and provide networking opportunities that will develop the next generation of filmmakers.” The event offers screenings, panels and educational master classes, to help empower and entertain. The festival takes place from August 22-26th, with major events within the schedule. The awards show will be held on August 25th at 7pm, awards will be given to the best features, documentaries, web series, actress, actor, student film, and short. The Women Superstars Luncheon aims to specifically celebrate women of color in the industry, and will take place Friday August 24th at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis. Sunday Brunch with the Brothers provides a panel of men of color in the industry, welcoming a discussion and interaction.
