Atlanta’s 2024 Caribbean Film Festival
By Oz Online | Published on June 27, 2024

Now in its 16th year, the Caribbean Film Festival has become a cornerstone of the annual Caribbean Heritage Month celebrations held every June in Georgia. This year, the festival has teamed up with the Queen’s Alumnae Atlanta Chapter to support Queen’s High School in Jamaica.

The film festival, taking place on June 28-30, 2024, explores Caribbean culture through documentary films that capture the essence of the Caribbean region. It also fosters engaging discussions on Caribbean life and themes, offering attendees a chance to connect and network with like-minded individuals.

Under the leadership of Monica Foderingham, the festival has thrived, presenting a diverse array of independent filmmakers from the Caribbean. This has not only fueled interest in the subjects presented but also in the filmmakers themselves and their creative journeys.
