“Strange Saturday”

Fun and Games in the Carter Museum Main Lobby

Free and Open to the Public

“While the event itself is free, we ask that you get a ticket via Eventbrite so we know how many people to expect. If you want to view the Georgia on my Screen exhibit while you are at the event, tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students/seniors, and free for children 16 and under.”

For one special day, things at the Carter Museum will be stranger than the town of Hawkins. Our spacious museum lobby will be transformed into a must-see mall of Stranger Things costume play, giveaways, 80s arcade games,D and D demos, panel discussion, a live podcast and more.

While here, it’s the perfect chance to tour the super-cool Georgia on my Screen exhibit (admission required) celebrating the epic 46-year partnership of Georgia government and the film industry initiated by Jimmy Carter, with over 60 artifacts from Georgia-filmed productions, from Smokey and the Bandit all the way to the Walking Dead, many of your favorite Marvel movies, and of course Stranger Things. Georgia on my Screen exhibit – Kids 16 and Under Free, Students/Seniors $10, Adults $12.
