SIEGE 2017 (Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo) has announced its theme and is looking for experienced speakers like you!

SIEGE is the largest conference of its kind in the Southeast, featuring panels from artists, programmers, designers, investors, writers, executives and beyond, touching on every aspect of the game development world. For this years’ 11th annual conference, they have announced that this year’s theme is “Climbing Your Skill Tree,” focusing on the variety of skills utilized in the development of gaming technology and productions.

“SIEGE brings seminal leaders in the game industry to share their knowledge and experience,” says Andrew Greenberg, SIEGE conference director. “Innovative game thinkers such as Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, EA Chief Creative Director Richard Hilleman, Myst co-founder Rand Miller and others have spoken at SIEGE. It is a great chance for anyone to up their game for making games.”

SIEGE is looking for speakers for the conference, and people may apply until April 30th. Already on this the roster is Tripwire Interactive Vice President Alan Wilson, SMITE Senior Gameplay Programmer Mick Larkins, and renowned game composer Chris Rickwood.

“SIEGE hosts a variety of sessions, including presentations, panels, workshops and roundtables,” adds Greenberg. “We always appreciate speakers who submit great session ideas, and we are delighted with how these speakers share ideas with others on their panels. The speakers often learn as much as do their audiences.”

This year SIEGE will take place in Atlanta from October 5-8th, at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest.

Those looking to join this lineup of speakers can apply at https://speakers.siegecon.net OR email [email protected]. Make sure to apply by April 30th.
