Atlanta-based nonprofit re:imagine/ATL will host the Purple Sparkle Carpet Bash this Saturday, July 30th from 5-8pm at the High Museum’s Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown

The event will premiere eight music videos created and produced by local youth at the organization’s Green Room summer camp over the past two weeks. Volunteer musicians, filmmakers, and visual artists from all over Atlanta collaborated and helped guide kids and adolescents, ranging from fifth graders to seniors in high school, through the creative process of making the videos, from storyboarding to costuming to shooting to editing.

Attendees will view eight music videos from local Atlanta bands, such as Kick the Robot and Secondhand Swagger. The videos include everything from puppetry to virtual reality. Following the screening is a wrap party featuring musical performances from Myra Sky, Jimi Cravity, and WERC Crew.

re:imagine/ATL invites everyone to come dressed in their finest 80s attire, with bonus points for sparkles. Reserve your FREE tickets by registering here.
