Rand Miller, co-founder of Cyan, Inc. (Myst, Riven, Uru) will keynote the 10th annual Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo on October 7.

Miller, who has spent 30 years in the game development industry, will share his insights at the upcoming SIEGE convention. Miller has maintained the ideal that being an independent game maker helps hold true to your vision throughout his career. The October 7 keynote, “Myst Opportunities: The Real and Virtual Realities of being an Independent Game Developer,” will be an open discussion about his work and independent game development. Miller and Cyan’s most recent project, Obduction, was released this year and received favorable reviews.
