Insurance for filmmaking has evolved significantly since COVID. Rob Jones of Sapelo Insurance recently told us that there are new programs to deal with issues related to insuring films in this new environment. One new product is COVID coverage specifically for studios. Studios can buy coverage per film using their studio to specifically cover a loss if the film gets shutdown.
