Atlanta filmed Furious 7 generated almost $50 million dollars for the Georgia economy. Universal Pictures production company hired 7,500 Georgia workers to help on the film and spent $20 million on hotel, hardware and lumber supplies costs. The film, which was released on Friday, has already made close to $400 million. The movie also features a touching tribute to the late actor Paul Walker who died during filming back in November 2013. His death delayed production by a few months leading to the April 3rd release date.

The box office hit has a IMDB score of 8.2 and a rotten tomatoes score of 83%.
